8 Kelly St. is my late grandmothers address. I spent a lot of my childhood here. I have countless memories, including the only one of my Uncle Danny who gave me a drum from Africa, possibly foreshadowing my life. Noise was her nickname. Short for Illinois. So The Noise at 8 Kelly St. is actually my grandma. She would have been 90 years old today on Nov. 5th. I just wanted to do something to honor her, so I made this. Every track is a reference to her. Hope you enjoy it.

Was looking for something Detroit-style that was available on seven inch, so my jukebox (which is with me in metro Detroit) would have something appropriate.
